beat the bullies coaching
(children and young people)
If you are concerned about your child/young person being verbally bullied, or cyber bullied, and you are worried about their mental health, and they are presenting with mild to moderate symptoms, please get in touch (*please note that if they are getting physically bullied you will need to contact your local CAMHS. This service is not suitable).
Your child/young person may be being verbally abused, or via technology. Bullying can happen in school or out of school. This can really have a confidence-knocking effect and you may be concerned that they are withdrawing or presenting with low mood/anxiety.
It can also be a very distressing time also for a parent/carer. Sometimes involving the parent/carer can help hugely, but this is done on a case-by-case basis, and with the consent of both parties.
I am currently offering face-to-face sessions. I have worked with CYPs online, and also face-to-face in schools and hospices.
I have safeguarding training and may liaise with external agencies to ensure the CYP has the best help available.
Sessions are 45minutes and consist of counsellor and the CYP.
If i feel creative therapy will be of benefit then we will also do that, as well as talking therapy.
Please get in touch to discuss how i may be able to help, and if your CYP is suitable for counselling.
*a child or young person presenting with severe symptoms will need an urgent GP referral. I do not offer this service.
*If you feel they are in imminent danger to self or others you will need to call 999 immediately.
